Training Center of BCDA
¢ñ.Introduction
The training center of BCDA is a professional institution entrusted by relevant administrative departments and approved by national education departments, taking charge of training programs for a variety of posts of the construction and decoration industry in Beijing. The training center, which was founded in May 1998 under the approval of Beijing Administration Office for Social Groups, is an independent legal entity that had obtained the License for the Educational Institution by Social Group. According to the assessment standards for the training programs of a variety of posts issued by The Enrollment Center of Construction Industry, training center of BCDA has carried out a series of targeted training programs for the posts on the basis of the actual posts in the construction and decoration projects. During the training period, education laws and regulations have been strictly implemented under the leader of Beijing Municipal Construction Committee. The teaching regulations have been further improved, which leads to an increase in the number of training programs. The short-term programs for adaptability and lectures have been supported and praised by the relevant personnel in the industry since 2003. In recent years, the increase in the number of training programs and teaching skills, especially the programs for the posts of construction and decoration personnel, have obtained high praise in society and been regarded as the brands for the training programs. At the end of 2007, the training center of BCDA organized senior experts and scholars to compile The Synopsis for the Posts in Construction and Decoration Industry, based on the features of construction and decoration industry and in reference to the national and regional relations and rules. The synopsis covers the contents of energy-saving knowledge, the new materials, new crafts, new technology and new equipments applied in construction and decoration projects. The synopsis satisfies the requirements of personnel in construction and decoration industry, and can also serve as the teaching material for relevant examination and self-education. The creation of the synopsis has been regarded as an important task for BCDA.
¢ò. The Introduction of the Training Programs
The training center of BCDA has been carrying out the guidelines for the industry-oriented, grass-roots-oriented, and society-oriented programs, and takes as its main tasks the improvement in the competence of the personnel, the training of qualified administrative staff and operation workers. The training center has trained tens of thousands of personnel for the construction and decoration industry, making contributions to regulating the markets and industry, as well as improving the personnel¡¯s competence. In 2003, Ministry of Construction of China and Ministry of Personnel set up a new profession of decoration and ornament in response to the development and requirements of the construction and decoration industry that has broader space for further development.
Hence, the training center recruits students perennially from enterprises, corporations and individuals, releases information for post training, skill training and other trainings. In addition, the center will set up a new market for communication of personnel specializing in decoration and ornaments, and looking forward to the participation of all relevant people.
¢ó. Characteristic Training Programs
The training center is famous for first-class faculties, professional teaching styles and strict instructing plans, and the scope of training covers the programs for the posts such as construction and decoration workers, quality inspectors, technical workers such as carpenters, curtain-wall installation workers, mason and locksmith. Under the leader of Beijing Municipal Construction Committee, BCDA has finished the setting of the posts, the teaching synopsis and teaching materials. In addition, students may obtain the certificates issued by Beijing Municipal Construction Committee after they finished their study and passed the universal examination.
